The Ann and Monroe Carell Jr. Families First Program

The Ann and Monroe Carell Jr. Families First Program is a monthly workshop series for parents of children (ages 2-5) diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

Overview

  • Program is free of charge.
  • Learn how to enhance social and communication skills and how to manage challenging behaviors.
  • Learn how to build communication, social interaction, and adaptive behavior into family routines.
  • Develop visual supports to assist in using new strategies in the home.
  • Featuring talks by leading clinicians, researchers, and advocates from Vanderbilt and the surrounding community.

Workshop topics vary from session-to-session. Limited on-site childcare will be available with advanced registration.

Registration is required.
