Infant and Toddler Screening Clinic (ITS)

The Parent Support and Education Program - Infant and Toddler Screening Clinic (ITS) provides information, support and diagnostic consultation for parents who have concerns about autism risk in their children, under 2-years-old. This includes developmental screening for infant siblings of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Our Mission

  • Facilitate appropriate early intervention services tailored to individual family needs.
  • Serve the scientific community by gathering information that contributes to research on best practices
  • Serve as an adjunct to, not a replacement for, existing community services

Clinic Format

Participation involves an initial visit to Vanderbilt for diagnostic screening, with follow-up services scheduled as warranted. Screenings are conducted by TRIAD staff psychologists.
