Arc of Tennessee
Arc is the State's largest grassroots organization devoted to mental retardation. It has over 2,000 members in 27 chapters across Tennessee. The Arc publishes a free newsletter, the Legislative Monitor: A Report on State and Federal Legislation Affecting Persons with Disabilities. Project LINK (see below) is an Arc of Tennessee project.

Formerly Tennessee Protection & Advocacy. Provides information and referral, training, and administrative and legal advocacy. It serves persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or clients of rehabilitation services, and their family members
Project LINK
LINK is Leaders In education Networking Kids. LINK teaches parents how the special education system works and their roles and rights. It teaches parents how to work within the system and how to be an advocate.
SPAN-TN
SPAN-TN is a family-driven network of proactive families, individuals and organizations. Members work together to start, support, and coordinate special education advocacy activities.
STEP (Support and Training for Exceptional Parents)
Provides parent training series/workshops on various topics related to special education, as well as written information on a variety of special education topics.
Tennessee Autism Network
The goal of the Tennessee Autism Network is to build local and regional expertise in programming for children with autism spectrum disorder. The Network offers training and technical assistance.

Council of Parent Advocates and Attorneys (COPAA)
COPAA is an independent, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization of attorneys, advocates and parents. It works to improve the quality and quantity of legal assistance for parents of children with disabilities.

Kids Together, Inc. is a non-profit organization, co-founded by parents and organized by volunteers, that provides information and resources to promote inclusive communities.
