Provides, in addition to Vocational Rehabilitation Services, other vocational programs which are funded by state government and federal grants to provide adults with intellectual disabilities a range of vocational services including supported employment, vocational training and day vocational programs.
A network of centers across the state where employers can go to find the workers they need and job seekers can get assistance and career information. Each center offers computerized labor market information, internet access, workshops, and an online talent bank, in addition to job placement, recruitment, and training referrals.
TSBDC offers free assistance to help business owners develop successful businesses through a network of experienced counselors, trainers and volunteer business people. This program also guarantees small business loans through private lenders (not individuals).
