Tennessee Employment Consortium

The Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) convenes the Statewide Tennessee Employment Consortium (TEC) on a quarterly basis. TEC provides DIDD with input into the formulation of employment-related policy. With the purpose of increasing the number of Tennesseans with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are competitively employed, TEC is composed of representatives from the Division of Rehabilitation Services, the Council on Developmental Disabilities, the Center for Literacy Studies at the University of Tennessee, family members, people with disabilities, the Arc-Tennessee, VKC UCEDD, community rehabilitation providers, Independent Support Coordination agencies and other stakeholders. Each DIDD Region also has TEC Regional Meetings. All are welcome to attend State TEC and/or Regional TEC Meetings.
