Assessment is a systematic way of gaining some understanding of ndividuals or families in order to make informed decisions. The purposes of assessment include screening, problem-solving, diagnosis, counseling and rehabilitation, and progress evaluation.

Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) Clinical Training
The ADOS-2 is the standard instrument for assessing autism spectrum disorders (ASD) across age, developmental level, and language skills. TRIAD is sponsoring a 2-day training workshop in use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) to help assess and diagnose ASD. The course provides detailed, initial training for people who plan to use the ADOS-2 in clinical or school settings, and is the first step in training to use the ADOS-2 in research.

Research Family Partners is a program that helps families connect with Vanderbilt Kennedy Center research studies in which they may be interested in taking part.
