We are looking for kids who:
$20/hour
Adults in 3 groups:
$20 per hour: The study will take approximately 9 hours total, which can be spaced out over 2, 3 or 4 days, at your convenience.
Families will be paid for their time up to $215.
Children 7 to 16 years old with a cochlear implant
a small toy or book and your child's personal profile of strengths and weaknesses
Parents or primary caregivers of 5- 18 year olds who are in treatment for emotional or behavioral problems
English is the parent/caregiver's primary language.
$25 for first interview visit, up to $145 for completing the whole study, $30 to $50 for child participants who complete the study
Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders 4-22
$150 / family upon completion
Children with ASD, 2 to 10 years-old, who have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep.
1 hour of individualized education with a sleep educator & compensation for your time
8 to 17 year old children and adolescents
with reading disabilities
with and without Neurofibromatosis Type 1
Free academic skills testing with summary, if first day of testing is completed. If qualified, 15 hours of tutoring. Check for $50 for each completed phase of the study.
18 to 42 month old children with Down syndrome who:

We are looking for parent(s) and their 24 to 42-month-old children with:
Assessment and interventions at no cost, some money for completion.
10 to 14 year old children
with and without reading disabilities
up to $150 (check mailed to your home after the study is completed - $75 for academic tests, $75 for MRI).
2 to 24 month old infants with Down syndrome
$25 and a toy or book
People from 8-17 years with autism OR who are typically developing
Participants will receive $15 per hour. Caregivers will receive $30 upon completion of all interviews and parent questionnaires.
Adolescents/young adults ages 11-21 years who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, and live with a parent/caregiver.
Sleep Intervention at no cost; families will get feedback and be compensated for their time.
Adults between the ages of 21 and 60 who can provide a confirmed diagnosis of schizophrenia, or schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar disorder
The parent, sibling, or adult child(ren) of persons with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder whose affected family member will share documentation of their diagnosis.
$20 hour for time plus travel
Healthy Caucasian adults between 50 and 80 years old who do NOT currently have:

Parents of children with Down syndrome between 5 and 30 years old

Youth with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum who are in their last year of high school or planning to leave high school within the next 12 months.
$40 for each visit and a report of the evaluation
Eligible volunteers must be between 12 and 21 years and meet the following criteria:
Compensation is provided for both travel and on-site evaluations and can range from between $25-$950 depending upon level of participation
