Adults with Down syndrome between 30 and 75 years old
$20/hour for study tasks.
Adults in 3 groups:
$20 per hour: The study will take approximately 9 hours total, which can be spaced out over 2, 3 or 4 days, at your convenience.
Adults over 16 to 70 with PKU
$50 per week and reimbursement for travel
People with Fragile X age 5-13
Evaluations, study visits, and study drug are provided at no cost. Compensation for transportation costs will be available.
Healthy children 8 to 10 years old

Anyone diagnosed with mucopolysaccharide storage disorder type 1 (MPS-1), Gaucher, Fabry, or Pompe disease

Non-smoking adults with Down Syndrome 30 years and older who have experienced mild changes in memory, concentration or behavior

(a) A child with Down syndrome between 5 and 17 years;
(b) A native speaker of English;
(c) Able to see and hear well enough to benefit from typical classroom instruction;
(d) Able to use speech as their primary form of communication;
(e) Behaviorally ready to attend to 40 minutes of 1-to-1 instruction with minimal breaks;
(f) In an early stage of reading development.
(g) Attends school 175 miles or less from Vanderbilt University.
