Brain Imaging Study of Adults with Down Syndrome

    Looking for:

    Adults with Down syndrome between 30 and 75 years old

    Compensation:

    $20/hour for study tasks.

    Looking for:

    30 to 54 month old children with Down syndrome who:

    • have between 2 and 50 productive words or signs
    • use English as the home language
    • live within 30 miles of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center
    • do not have significant hearing/vision impairments

    We offer language intervention & assessments at no cost to the family.

Project ERIC– Enhancing Reading Instruction for Children with Down Syndrome

    Looking for:

    (a) A child with Down syndrome between 5 and 17 years;

    (b) A native speaker of English;

    (c) Able to see and hear well enough to benefit from typical classroom instruction;

    (d) Able to use speech as their primary form of communication;

    (e) Behaviorally ready to attend to 40 minutes of 1-to-1 instruction with minimal breaks;

    (f) In an early stage of reading development.

    (g) Attends school 175 miles or less from Vanderbilt University.
