Brain Imaging Study of Adults with Down Syndrome

    Looking for:

    Adults with Down syndrome between 30 and 75 years old

    Compensation:

    $20/hour for study tasks.

    Looking for:

    Children with Down syndrome

    ages 5 to 12 years old

    Compensation:

    Intervention and evaluations at no cost and $50 for completing the study.

KidTalk Down Syndrome Communication Intervention Project

    Looking for:

    18 to 42 month old children with Down syndrome who:

    • have the ability to imitate actions using their body
    • have between 1 and 5 productive words or signs
    • use English as the home language
    • live within 30 miles of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center
    • do not have significant hearing/vision impairments

    Compensation:

    We offer at no cost to the family:

    • Language assessments as part of the eligibility process.
    • 48 to 60 language intervention sessions
