Description

We are interested in how the learning of children with minimal hearing loss is affected. This amount of hearing loss is so minor that it may or may not show up in the school-wide hearing screenings, but does it affect children's performance?

We need children in Kindergarten, the 1st grade, and the 2nd grade who have minimal hearing loss. We are also searching for students with no hearing loss.

During visits to the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center, we will measure the thinking and academic skills of children who volunteer 4 times over 2 years. We will tell parents how their children are doing.
