MR Studies of Alcohol-induced Brain injury and Recovery

Description

If you are an adult with an alcohol addiction and you have been thinking of stopping, we can help you. While you are receiving the detox treatment your insurance specifies, we invite you to join our study.

We are looking for people who want to quit drinking and who would be willing to have an MRI 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months after they enter detox and stop drinking.

We will monitor your abstinence and compensate you for each of the three MRI image visits. Call to talk with personnel about your eligibility.

Participant Criteria

  • Adults, age 18-70
  • who are alcohol dependent
  • who are interested in getting abstinent
