Have you experienced interpersonal violence in the past month?

If you are female and between 18 and 45 years old and have experienced interpersonal violence in the past month, you may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted at Meharry Medical College.

Interpersonal violence could include:

  • intimidation or harassment
  • physical or sexual assault
  • domestic violence
  • violent crime

The purpose of this study is to better understand how women respond to interpersonal violence and to identify coping strategies that are associated with resilience.

You will be financially compensated for your participation. As part of the study you will receive regular assessments of mental health difficulties over a 5-month period. We will also provide you with information regarding treatment options and providers.

Participant Criteria

18 to 45 year old women who have experienced interpersonal violence in the past month.
