The Auditory Development Lab is recruiting infants with hearing loss, from ages 12 to 24 months, to participate in a research study that examines how visual and auditory cues help infants learn about objects. This study will involve one visit to the lab's playroom for 30 minutes. Participating children will be asked to play with some toys that will provide auditory and visual reinforcement.
We are interested in seeing if infants with hearing loss have a preference for auditory or visual cues and if that preference changes their pattern of exploration.
