We are looking for children ages 6-12 with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, or PPD-NOS to see if a new medication called memantine helps with social and communication problems.
The study lasts for 48 weeks and you could come to Vanderbilt up to 13 times. There is no cost to you to participate.
All children in this study receive medicine and your child may qualify to participate in other studies with memantine.
We are looking for children ages 6-12 with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, or PPD-NOS.

Adults 18-45 with Fragile X syndrome
Compensation: YesAdolescents (12-17 years old) with Fragile X syndrome
Compensation: YesAdolescents and young adults (12-25 years old) with Fragile X syndrome
Compensation: YesChildren with a confirmed diagnosis of Fragile X between 3 and 11 years.
Compensation: YesAdults age 16– 50 with Fragile X for a study using an investigational drug.
