Description

Are you interested in your child’s language development?

We are recruiting babies and toddlers with typically developing language to be a part of our study looking at how brain waves change in response to certain words and sounds.

Children who participate in this study will come to the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center with a parent for one hour-long visit. You will fill out a questionnaire about your child’s vocabulary. Your child will sit in a comfortable, quiet room and wear a spongy hat, while watching a cartoon.

Please include your child’s name and date of birth when you send us an email or leave us a message about your interest in the study.

Participant Criteria

You and your child may be able to participate if:

  • your child is between the ages of 8 and 21 months old.
  • your child is typically developing

Compensation

$50 and a small toy

Visit Requirements

1 hour-long visit
