Description

Parenting is challenging and sometimes stressful. This study aims to assist parent to get help to deal with stress.

If you are eligible for the study, you will be asked to schedule an information session and complete some surveys about your and your child's health.

During the 1st visit (90-minutes), we will interview you about your health and well-being. You will get $25 for your time and efforts.

Two months later you will be asked to complete other surveys, on paper or online.

Five or six months after the first visit, you will be asked to schedule a final 2- hour interview session.

All sessions are scheduled at a time and place convenient to you.

Participant Criteria

Parents or primary caregivers of 5- 18 year olds who are in treatment for emotional or behavioral problems

English is the parent/caregiver's primary language.

Compensation

$25 for first interview visit, up to $145 for completing the whole study, $30 to $50 for child participants who complete the study
