Description

The Center for Human Genetics Research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is conducting genetic research studies on autism spectrum disorders. If your family has one or more members with autism age 22 or younger, your family may be eligible for the study.

A family history interview will be conducted by telephone. Medical information from medical records will be reviewed relating to the diagnosis of autism. Several diagnostic interviews will be completed; these will be conducted in person. Also, a blood sample will be obtained from the individual(s) with autism and their parents. There is no cost to take part in the study. Travel to Vanderbilt University Medical Center is not required; we will come to you.

See Center for Human Genetics Autism Research for more information.
