Cortisol Research Study for Healthy Adults

Description

We are interested in measuring the cortisol (a naturally occurring stress hormone) levels of healthy adults to compare them to people who are under stress. We ask you to:

  • Provide 12 saliva samples over 2 week days for cortisol
  • Mail or drop off the samples the next day
  • Fill out questionnaires about how well you slept, or if you have been feeling depressed or worried.
  • Give a brief record of any OTC medications/vitamins you take.
  • You may be given information about other research studies you could take part in.

Participant Criteria

  • Healthy adults between 18-60 years of age
  • Not currently taking prescription medicines
