Description

Do people have difficulty understanding when your child with Down syndrome speaks?

We are interested in providing your child with a research-supported articulation intervention that we believe will be especially good for kids with Down syndrome.

Here is what we will ask you to do:

  • continue with their current therapy program
  • participate in confidential evaluations at the beginning and the end of the study
  • participate in 1 hour therapy sessions, 2 times a week for six months

Participant Criteria

5-12 year olds with Down syndrome who talk

Compensation

Evaluations and intervention at no cost

Visit Requirements

2 in-school, hour-long visits each week
