Sleep Characteristics and Neurocognitive Functioning

Last Updated: Thursday, November 12, 2009

Principal Investigator: Alexandra Key, Ph.D.

Other researchers: Beth Malow, MD, MSCI

Description

We are interested in the way your child's brain responds to pictures of people and objects. We are particularly interested in how sleep problems may affect these responses in children with ASD.

We ask you to come in for one visit. We ask your child to:

  • answer some questions
  • put on our stretchy, warm, damp cap
  • watch the computer screen
  • get a toy from the treasure box.

If your child has already participated in some stages of Dr. Malow's sleep studies, please let us know. That will be helpful to us.
