Tips and Resources fact sheets are tools for individuals and families with and without disabilities, service providers, students and trainees, and anyone interested in learning more about disabilities and disability-related topics. Produced by Vanderbilt Kennedy Communication and Dissemination services, Tips and Resources are offered on the science of specific disabilities, the effects disabilities might have on the individual and family, and treatment and service options. They also are tools for clinicians and educators who constantly seek service options for the families they work with.
Each fact sheet is a single-page, easy-to-hand-out flyer that can be downloaded at no cost. The front provides facts and information on the specific topic and the back is a summary of Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and Vanderbilt University resources that relate to the topic, as well as local and national resources. You can distribute Tips and Resources as is or, at no cost, we will individualize the section “National and Local Resources” so that it includes your organization and its most frequent referrals. For revisions, please contact us.
By assisting us in distributing Tips and Resources, you will be helping families, clinicians, and educators locate additional resources, information, and support. Check back frequently! We will add new Tips and Resources fact sheets to this page bi-monthly.
