Dr. Morgan has had a strong interest in, and commitment to, developmental disorders in children for the past decade of his career. He was previously formally connected with the Yale Child Study Center, where he performed clinical and research evaluations. Dr. Morgan has done extensive research on chromosomal disorders that cause developmental delay and autism spectrum disorders. In addition, he has published research pertaining to the genetics of preterm birth and congenital heart diseases, both of which pose developmental challenges in childhood. Dr. Morgan's current research focus is on lysosomal disorders and biochemical genetic disorders that are detectable by newborn screening.
