Nirupama Madduri is Clinical Director for the Center for Child Development and the Division of Developmental Medicine. She provides care to children and their families in Autism Clinical Services, the Down Syndrome Clinic, and the Fragile X Clinic.
Her current research interests include the impact of visual media on parental perceptions of behavior concerns in children with autism spectrum disorders; the overall impact of obstructive sleep apnea on the cognitive and behavioral needs of children with Down syndrome, and development of a database to be used by a team of clinical researchers to determine common characteristics; and feeding behavior difficulties in children with developmental disabilities.
