SENSE Theatre, the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, and the University School of Nashville will present the play "Mergatroid and the Candy Store" on Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the USN Auditorium, located at 2000 Edgehill Ave., Nashville.

Written by Blythe Corbett, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, and directed by Catherine Coke with music by Ed Bazel and Tammy Vice and lyrics by Corbett, "Mergatroid and the Candy Store" is the story of a curious boy who longs for a real friend. By escaping into tasty temptation his imaginary friend makes him visible as his dream comes to life! "Mergatroid and the Candy Store" is the capstone performance of the third annual SENSE Theatre Summer Camp, a 2-week experience for youths with autism spectrum disorders and peer actors.
