In collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Education, the Vanderbilt Kennedy Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) is pleased to provide a hands-on autism-specific workshop for general and special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, behavior consultants and other school personnel who serve students with autism spectrum disorders. Training topics will include the characteristics of autism, functional assessment, instructional strategies, data collection, functional communication, and social skills development. Each participant in the training will receive an on-site follow-up visit from a TRIAD consultant.
