Tennessee Adult Brothers and Sisters (TABS) Conference

Friday, April 3-Saturday, April 4, 2009

Saturday, April 4, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

For adult siblings, siblings-in-law, and professionals interested in sibling issues. Program will cover futures planning, caring for the caregiver, research, legislation and advocacy, and family dynamics and relationships.

Keynote speakers are M. Doreen Croser, Executive Director, American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and Laurie Stallings Vanderpool, sister of John Mark Stallings. VKC speakers will include Ashley Coulter, Program Coordinator, Tennessee Disability Pathfinder; and Julie Lounds Taylor, Ph.D., Assistant Professor Pediatrics and Special Education, Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Member.

Registration fee of $45 covers registration, meals, a conference t-shirt, and materials.

Hotel room rate $119 + tax per night. Free parking at the hotel.
