The Tennessee Department of Education, Division of Special Education, in collaboration with TRIAD of Vanderbilt University, would like to announce its 2008 training opportunity for Para-Educators who work with students with autism in the public schools.

This two-day training will be geared specifically toward those para-educators who work with students with autism in grades K-12 and will cover topics including: characteristics of autism, behavior management principles, instructional strategies and integrating different methodologies.
