In collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Education, the Vanderbilt Kennedy Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) is pleased to provide a full-day workshop for general education teachers and staff who serve students with autism spectrum disorders. Parents are also welcome to attend. This workshop will provide information regarding the characteristics of students with autism spectrum disorders, the impact of these characteristics on teaching and learning, and methods for supporting students with ASD in the general education setting.
