Social-Communication skills are an essential component of educational performance, curriculum standards, and positive integration into community settings for all students.
This two-day workshop sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) in collaboration with Vanderbilt’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) is specifically designed for early childhood educators, including teachers and other professionals who are responsible for evaluating and developing goals and providing intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), related disabilities, and other diverse learning styles enrolled in Local Education Agency early childhood programs.

This workshop will take place in each region of the state and will be open to forty (40) participants.
*Participants must attend both days in order to receive a certificate of completion. Admission will be by application only. Deadline for registration is Jan. 21, 2014, two weeks prior to Day 1 of the workshop, or until full.
