Do you know anyone who struggles with reading? Would you like to learn about different strategies and resources to assist them?

Please join us for an informative training to learn more about the following:

  • Assessment process to gain a better understanding of reading difficulties
  • Helpful strategies for developing reading and comprehension skills
  • Technology available to use in the classroom to support the development of students' reading skills
  • Accessing community resources that provide services and support for individuals experiencing learning difficulties

This course will take place on Thursday, June 6, from 8:00-11:30 a.m. at the Star Center, located at 1119 Old Humboldt Road in Jackson. Presenters include the following:

This class is for educators, service providers, and family members in the West Tennessee area.

Certificates for continuing education will be given at the end of the training.
