Description

What types of opportunities and activities are available for individuals with disabilities and their families?

Please join us for an informative training to learn more about the following services available through the presenting agencies:

  • A statewide clearinghouse of disability-related information, including recreational resources
  • Community social activities for individuals with autism and their families
  • A year-round accessible music and art program for children with disabilities
  • Social, recreational, and summer camp programs for individuals with disabilities and their families
  • Athletic activities for individuals with disabilities
  • An outdoor education program for children who have multiple disabilities

This event will be held Friday, Sept. 28, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Knoxville-Knox County CAC, located in the L.T. Ross Building, 2247 Western Avenue, Knoxville. Training is free of charge, but registration is required for providers. Please register before the Sept. 27 deadline.
