This full-day workshop is geared school personnel staff (teachers, paraeducators, speech-language pathologists, etc.) who work directly with students with autism spectrum disorders on a consistent basis. Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) is an educator-led strategy that involves breaking down learning activities into separate components and teaching one component at a time in a highly structured manner. This workshop will focus on learning how to integrate DTT into daily routines in the practical and efficient ways. Participants will develop an individualized, student-specific program for a student for whom they have previously identified goals.
Location of this training will be sent to participants upon acceptance to the workshop.
