The Department of Education, Division of Special Education, in collaboration with the Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, are offering statewide online training that focuses on working with students with autism spectrum disorders. The two-part training will include principles of behavior and learning and improving communication in students with autism.
The target audience includes teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, SLPs, OTs, and other staff who work with children with autism. The workshop begins Feb. 9.
