This conference will define multicultural awareness and focus on the values, principles, attitudes, and policies impacting the delivery of disability services to culturally diverse individuals and their families. Content will highlight the cultural perspectives of refugee, immigrant, rural and African-American populations.

10:45 a.m. Panel Presentation: Cultural Perspectives of Rural, Underserved, and African American Populations

1:00 p.m. Panel Presentation: How Cultural Values Impact Care of Children and Adults with Disabilities

FROM SOUTH OF NASHVILLE ON I-65 OR I-24: Take I-440 West. Take Exit 3 (21st Ave./Hillsboro Pike). When the off-ramp splits, follow the signs to Hillsboro Pike.
