Services Summary

A state government agency that provides the following financial assistance and health insurance programs to those who qualify: Families First - temporary cash assistance program; Food Stamp Program/Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) - nutritional assistance program, EBT Helpline (1-888-997-9444); Medicaid/TennCare - processes applications for health insurance coverage; Child Care Resource & Referral; & Adult Protective Services - investigates reports of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of adults (1-888-277-8366).
