Welcome to our PALS website!

PALS Reading and PALS Math were developed to help teachers accommodate diverse learners
and to promote their academic success. PALS Reading and PALS Math were approved by the
U.S. Department of Education's Program Effectiveness Panel for inclusion in theNational
Diffusion Network on effective educational practices.

PALS is listed among the best evidence-supported math programs on the John Hopkins University
website, Best Evidence Encyclopedis (BEE). Most recently, the What Works Clearinghouse
found the "The Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies© instructional program to have
potentially positive effects on reading achievement" for elementary-age ELL children.
