Equipment: Morris WatermazeLocation: PRB 863![]() Description:The Morris watermaze is a classic test of spatial learning and memory. Mice are trained with a visual cue for several days, then their ability to remember the location of a target platform is tested. The test can be repeated with a "hidden" version in which they are not allowed to see the location of the platform. This test is labor instensive and must be run every day for several weeks to obtain good results. Familiary with running NIH Image on Mac OS9 is helpful.
