Med Associates Open Field Chamber (OFA-510)

	Why Use This Equipment?? These chambers are designed for monitoring the locomotor behavior of mice. The 11.0 in. by 11.0 in. chambers house 16 I/R beams to monitor and record the X-Y-Z coordintes of the mice in 50 msec intervals.
We also have eight dark box inserts (Med Associates ENV-511) for light/dark experiments designed to measure anxiety.

Charges: $16 per hour ($8 for CMN and KC members)

Note: To use the locomotor activity chambers you must have an active Account with the Murine Neurobehavioral Lab and reserve time using our on-line Scheduling calendar. Contact John, to arrange training.
