Going to school at a community college, because I was disabled and I didn’t know what was available. I did not know what was accommodated for someone like me with my disabilities but after going for a few years I realized that I was the same person like everybody else. It may take me a while to understand what they are trying to teach, but I can do it. I am a slow learner but if I have the right accommodations then I can complete the course. For example, I have to have extra time to take a test. I have to tell the staff working with me what to write down. I have to go into a quiet room because I can not sit in a class room to take the test because there is too much noise. Last semester, I took geometry and algebra classes. I passed the courses because if you want to pass you have to study
