Social Skills Summer Camp

Junior Counselors

The TRIAD Summer Camp provides a unique volunteer opportunity for teenagers ages 14-18. Junior counselors help the more experienced counselors in the groups by assisting the campers with games or art projects. The junior counselors will also participate in activities with the adolescents with autism.

Counselors Training

The TRIAD Summer Camp also acts as a training opportunity for professionals and educators interested in gaining expertise in working with children with autism. Under the supervision of TRIAD staff, counselors learn skills necessary for implementing effective interventions with children with autism including the camp specific social skills curriculum. As such, practicum hours are available for psychology, special education, and speech pathology students.
