Our services and programs extend to people with disabilities, families, and the community, as well as researchers who study human development and disabilities at Vanderbilt University.
We encorporate an interdisciplinary, multi-faceted approach to bringing positive change to the community by including research and training elements in our services.

The Core research support units, as established by our role as a Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center, support research by providing services to support cutting-edge research by providing activities that promote collaboration and by attracting new investigators to the field.

Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities
Tennessee Disability Pathfinder provides phone, web, and print resources in English and Spanish to connect the Tennessee disability community with service providers. Referral services, free of cost, are provided to persons with disabilities, family members, service providers, and advocates.
