Accessibility Survey Information
The survey information is solely an attempt to provide some information about the accessibility friendliness of restaurants to people with disabilities, their friends, family members and interested others. The accessibility friendly surveys were performed by volunteers and Access Nashville does not guarantee their accuracy. Eventhough a survey may be an accurate reflection of the accessibility of a restaurant on the day of the volunteers visit, conditions that may affect accessibility can change over time. Accordingly, if you have specific accessibility needs, you should call the business or attraction to confirm whether it is able to meet your needs prior to planning a visit.
The survey instrument is specifically designed for Access Nashville and is NOT an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Audit. Accordingly, Access Nashville’s listing of a good or wow rating for a restaurant does NOT mean that the restaurant attraction is in compliance with the ADA’s accessibility requirements. Similarly, Access Nashville’s listing of a limited rating for a restaurant does NOT mean that the restaurant is violating the ADA’s accessibility requirements. Whether a restaurant is in compliance with the ADA’s accessibility requirements is a complex legal question beyond the scope of the Access Nashville project.
The overall survey rating reflects the impression of volunteers of a restaurant's accessibility friendly features for people who use wheelchairs. In addition, the surveys themselves contain information regarding accessibility features of interest to people with other types of disabilities.
