Aims

CASL investigators were collaborating on a research program designed to:

  • Identify the critical classroom-setting features required for implementing these innovative multicomponent practices in everyday classrooms.
  • Develop effective, multicomponent instructional interventions in reading, writing, and math, which focus on basic and higher-order skills as well as fluency, transfer, and maintenance for children with disabilities in grades K-3.
  • Provide educators and parents with information to make reading, writing, and mathematics instructional practices more effective in grades K-3.

See CASL News issues on home page for information on effective instructional strategies that addressed these aims.
